Today is March the 1st, 2021.

I have been in front of a computer for the better part of a day trying to solve a problem.

I did, you know! I solved it. I persevered until I got a satisfactory solution.

I realized this about myself sometime ago. I am persistent.

I think it is important that we recognize who we are and I am quite persistent when it comes to finding a solution, or at the very least a work around, when I am faced with a problem. Today it was about a friend’s blog that needed a donation button. That seems like it would be easy enough, right? Well it was not. The widget that should make it easy is not working, so I had to figure it out. I do not speak HTML very well and most of the help info kept me going back to the thing that did not work. Thank God for the internet! Through the help of other more informed people, I found a post with the information to help get me a solution. Woo Hoo. Finally a working button appeared where it was supposed to be. There is nothing (well not nothing but you get it) like the sweet satisfaction of solving the problem with a workable solution. *sigh of relief.

Perseverance. Persistence. Stubbornness. Whatever you want to call it, when I go after a solution, you better believe I will find one… eventually.
